Pale gold in colour with a fine mousse. This wine is rich and aromatic on the nose. On the palate, it is well balanced and shows great finesse and complexity. Pinot Noir gives this wine richness and a long finish while Chardonnay, from the finest soils of the C�tes des Blancs, adds delicacy, liveliness and freshness. Pinot Meunier, mainly from the Marne Valley, gives this wine an appealing fruitiness and roundness. !!<Production: >!!Brut Majeur is the finest expression of the Champagne Ayala style. The origin of the cru�s gives a good idea of the quality of the wine. The Pinot Noir is sourced from A�, Mareuil sur A�, Louvois, Bouzy, Tours sur Marne, Verzy and Rilly. The Chardonnay is sourced from Cramant, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Cuis and Vertus. And the Pinot Meunier is sourced from Venteuil, Cerseuil, St Martin d�Ablois and Chavot. These villages are ranked at the very high level of 93% on the ��chelle des crus� scale. This cuv�e is made from 77% of wines coming from the great 2002 vintage, and 23% reserve wines. After second fermentation Brut Majeur spends more than 2 years on its lees in the cellars, and rests for a further 4 months after riddling, disgorgement and the addition of �liqueur d�expedition�, and prior to shipment.
