The Pol Roger vintage is a delight of a champagne. This vintage uses the traditional Pol Roger house blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from twenty Grands and Premiers crus vineyards in the Montagne de Reims and the C�te des Blancs. Aged patiently for eight years in the Pol Roger cellars before release, this champagne will continue to develop for 3-7 years. An attractive pale straw colour. A mineral and elegant nose, a wonderfully complex aroma of white flowers, quince and subtle brioche. On the palate this champagne is intense, yet retaining delicacy, balanced notes of stone fruit, acacia honey and citrus underpinned by a fine thread of acidity.
