This historic limited edition of Taylor's Reserve Tawny Port pays homage to its long history of pioneering, passion and heritage. The bottle shape is based on a unique historical English-shaped flask from the first half of the 18th century, around 1720 and 1750. The bottle design incorporates a glass embossed '4xx' symbol, based on a unique late 17th century sealed bottle, first made at about the same time as the foundation of Taylor's in 1692. It is the earliest example of an intact bottle bearing the merchant's mark. The '4xx' symbol still used as the Taylor's trademark to this day.
